Example of Red Double Case with Cherry Wood
Wood Color – We use a dark walnut oil-based stain for all 3 of our wood types. Each piece of American hardwood is unique and stains differently. The pictures of our cases show you an approximate color that you will get. We cannot guarantee that your saber case will look exactly like the picture on the website. If you have something that you are trying to match, we cannot guarantee an exact match.
Please note: crushed gold velvet is not perfectly flat and smooth like our other velvet, but crinkly.
Sword vs. Saber – hmmm…a Saber has only one sharp edge and is curved. A saber is a type of sword. The Air Force Academy calls their straight, double-edged sword a saber, but so did Patton. So, if you want to call it a saber, call it a saber! We’ve called it a saber for 36 years.
Allow 4 – 6 weeks from time of order to shipping of your case. We try to beat this time, but life happens (weddings, babies, etc.) and your product is made by hand by real people, not by machines or a factory. If you need your case sooner let us know at the time of order and we will do our best to accommodate.
