39 ½ ” x 10 ½ ” x 2 ¼” shadow box. Can fit a sword/saber 38” long (from tip of blade to end of handle). The frame comes in oak, cherry or walnut coated with a walnut stain, and has either a padded velvet (6 color choices) or solid wood background. Swivel choice depends on saber displayed.

A 4.5” x 2” wooden plinth at bottom of frame holds an engraving (can also have an engraving that is twice the normal length, 9” x 2”). You can choose a standard metal (in silver or gold), double metal, double all-wood, or double wood + metal plate. See description of engravings for more information.
Comes with glass option ONLY for low profile swivels. (Important: Any saber with a handguard cannot use a low profile swivel and thus cannot have glass.) Four brass corners hold the glass on top of the case. You unscrew corners with a small Philips screwdriver and lift glass off to install or remove sword.
Two saw-tooth hangers spaced 32” apart (to allow anchoring on 16” center studs for earthquake prone areas…change made from a customer’s suggestion) on the back of the case are included for hanging.
Please note: crushed gold velvet is not perfectly flat and smooth like our other velvet, but crinkly.
99% of all sabers fit in this case. If your sword or saber is 38 inches or less from tip of blade to end of handguard, it will fit. If it is larger, please see our Big & Tall Case.
Wood Color – We use a dark walnut oil-based stain for all 3 of our wood types. Each piece of American hardwood is unique and stains differently. The pictures of our cases show you an approximate color that you will get. We cannot guarantee that your saber case will look exactly like the picture on the website. If you have something that you are trying to match, we cannot guarantee an exact match.
Allow 4 – 6 weeks from time of order to shipping of your case. We try to beat this time, but life happens (weddings, babies, etc.) and your product is made by hand by real people, not by machines or a factory. If you need your case sooner let us know at the time of order and we will do our best to accommodate.
